2019-2022 SUBARU ASCENT - 2'' SST LIFT KIT
2019-2022 SUBARU ASCENT - 2'' SST LIFT KIT
Details:
ReadyLIFT® offers a lift solution for 2019-2022 Subaru Ascent to our Subaru SST lift kit portfolio. Many customers have asked for a lift solution for the newest and largest Subaru on the global platform to date. Using our very popular and easy-to-install offset spacer design that works harmoniously with the Subaru global chassis, this new kit is very similar to our kits available for the Crosstrek, Outback and Forester and provides the same 2" of lift.
This new SST lift kit includes heavy-duty laser cut steel driver/passenger specific offset front strut extensions providing 2" of lift and rear strut extensions providing 1.5" of lift. Like our other great Subaru systems, this kit also includes front sway bar drop brackets and all the necessary hardware including new shorter front cradle drop bolts to provide increased clearance for the front half shafts.
69-9921 increases overall ground clearance while allowing for upgrading to a slightly larger off-road style tire to improve the overall adventurous spirit of the new Ascent. We found that a 255/55R18 tire is ideal on a 18x8 +32 offset wheel. Subaru Ascent wheel well space is quite limited on the new Ascent so the SST Lift Kit is an essential element to accommodate larger wheels and tires. Most 17" wheels will not clear the factory front brake caliper. ReadyLIFT encourages the use of 18" or larger diameter wheels to help clear the caliper.
Tire Fitment
255/55R18 tire is ideal on a 18x8 +32 offset wheel.
Tire Size Note: ReadyLIFT wheel and tire fitment recommendations are typically based on Wheel Pros wheels and Nitto tires. Due to product differences among tire manufacturers, tire specifications and dimensions including, but limited to, overall diameter, rolling diameter, tread width, aspect ratio, lug pattern, sidewall construction and inflation pressure, will vary meaningfully by tire and wheel manufacturer. Every tire and wheel combination should be test fit prior to installation. Consult your local installer to learn more about the right tire fitment for your application.
Ride Quality Note: When lifting a vehicle and installing aftermarket wheels and tires, a tire manufacturer's construction and material quality can alter vehicle ride quality. When increasing a vehicle wheel and tire size, most larger aftermarket truck and SUV tires are 10-ply (or more) E tires compared to typical OEM 6-ply C tires. This more rigid sidewall construction increases the perception of suspension stiffness often described as ride harshness. The ride, handling, traction, noise, fuel economy, and wear differences between All-Season, All-Terrain, Mud-Terrain, or Trail-Terrain type tires can be significant. Please take into account tire and wheel choice will generally have a meaningful impact on the ride & handling experience.
